Junior Girls Basketball Championships
Division 1 and 2 junior girls basketball championships were held at Sir Allan MacNab School on Thursday November 10th. Division 1 was captured by Westdale and the division 2 game was won by Guido de Bres. This was Westdale’s third championship in the past four years and Guido de Bres’ first championship. The Division 1 and 2 championships were decided on Thursday, November 10th. Westdale Warriors won their matchup with Ancaster in Division 1 and Glendale won the school’s first girls’ basketball championship in forty years defeating Orchard Park. Boys Volleyball Championships
It was an exciting night in Ancaster with both the junior and senior boys volleyball championships going to five sets in best 3 of 5 matches. Sir Allan MacNab won the junior game and Ancaster mounted an enormous comeback, down 2-0, to win the senior championship. Division 2 Football Championships
On Thursday, November 17th the Highland Hawks won their first ever HWIAC football championship. The division 2 game was played at Ron Joyce Stadium against the Sir Winston Churchill Bulldogs.
