After a undefeated regular season and an H.W.I.A.C. championship win, the Sir Allan MacNab Lions went on to AAAA OFSAA boys basketball. The small school usually participates at the AA level but declared up this year to try their luck against much bigger school. They won the consolation championship. The Saltfleet boys basketball team has won OFSAA Gold. After a strong regular season (please visit the boys basketball page for more information) and great playoff run, the Saltfleet senior boys basketball team won the AAA SOSSA tournament to advance to OFSAA. Saltfleet finished off an impressive run with a win in the gold medal game, defeating the reigning AAA OFSAA champion Windsor Catholic Central by a score of 53 – 50. The Saltfleet Storm girls hockey team have ended their season on the most positive of notes. After a strong regular season (please visit the girls hockey page for more information) and great great win at the HWIAC city championships, the Saltfleet girls hockey team won the AAA/AAAA SOSSA tournament to advance to OFSAA. Saltfleet had a great showing in the round robin and defeated Holy Cross 1 – 0 in the gold medal game.

A special thank you to the players, coaches and organizers of the first annual Girls High School Volleyball All Star game. The game was played in front a packed house at Westmount Secondary School on Wednesday, March 26^th, between Hamilton Catholic and Hamilton Public Boards. The match was highly skilled and competitive, with the Public Board coming out on top in 4 sets.
