Featured Athlete of the Week – Julia Sylvester – Dundas Valley

Julia Sylvester is a grade 10 student who excels in everything that she does academically and athletically. She was the co-captain of the junior girls basketball team and played an integral role on the girls volleyball, water-polo, soccer, slow-pitch, and badminton teams.  Her leadership, teamwork skills, and tenacious efforts helped contribute to a SOSSA gold in basketball, a city championship in soccer, and a bronze medal in water-polo. Julia’s athletic talent is evenly matched with her infectious personality as she personifies not only the true qualities of a strong student athlete but she also represents herself, her school and her peers with a high degree of sportsmanship, integrity, and respect in all of her athletic endeavours.
