Featured Athlete of the Week – Vanessa Olayiwola – Nora Henderson

Vanessa Olayiwola was nominated by her coaches to be the feature athlete for Nora Frances Henderson Secondary School.    Vanessa is a dedicated, hardworking and coachable student athlete.  She is a positive contributor on the senior girls’ basketball team, despite only being in grade 9, she never gave up and always challenged herself.   Vanessa was a dominant force offensively for the Grade 9 soccer team. She was also a member on the junior volleyball team and is currently training for the track and field season.  Vanessa shows great potential in the coming years as a Husky.
